PSI shows strategy and courage: a strong brand presence for a product launch
Around 100 publications in three months and a clear position as knowledge leader for AI in logistics. That is the interim result of PSI and additiv. With targeted trade press relations and content campaigns, the software provider made a strong entrance in the logistics industry for its product launch.
The most important lesson up front: good content has the greatest effect when it is planned strategically and told across channels. What does that take? Substance and courage.
Good topics deserve reach
PSI Software SE set out to raise the visibility of its Logistics business unit systematically. additiv’s task was also to strengthen PSI’s image as a leading provider of logistics software. Decision-makers in logistics and IT were to be addressed more specifically. At the same time, the launch of the new AI platform PSIwms AI was imminent. The software optimises warehouse processes in real time. The aim was to position PSI as a knowledge leader in topics such as AI and automation. The concrete customer benefit of its own solution also had to become clear.
The communication roadmap
In close coordination with the contacts at PSI, additiv first developed a campaign-based communication strategy. It established PSI’s expertise across all relevant channels. Each measure was tailored to its target group and measurable. In parallel, additiv supported the software developer in preparing the content for LogiMAT, the international intralogistics trade fair in Stuttgart. At the fair, PSIwms AI was the centrepiece of the stand and received the Best Product Award. additiv is now also responsible for trade press relations for the Logistics business unit.
Measures
Media reach in just three months
additiv’s communication strategy showed measurable results after a short time. In the first three months after taking over trade press relations, the B2B agency achieved around 100 publications in relevant trade media. The Best Product Award at LogiMAT drew additional attention to PSIwms AI. Valuable leads got in touch at the fair itself, looking for PSI as a knowledge leader. additiv also filmed videos at the fair for content across platforms. PSI uses the material on its own LinkedIn and YouTube channels. It also feeds the internal video hub.
Results
Substance beats speed, and courage pays off
Good content works when it is planned strategically and told across channels over the long term. For complex topics, a well-prepared launch can feed technical articles, press relations, social media content and thought leadership formats for months.
